About UNSA
As part of the UNSA Global Network, UNSA Vienna aims at setting new benchmarks with regard to the identification of as well as work on topics and ideas that are critical for the future of the UN system and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UNSA Vienna aims at promoting the implementation of the SDGs by furthering the work on most commonly overlooked yet important topics and establishing innovative, integrative and solution-oriented approaches to those topics within the UN framework.

: SDG Blog: Diplomatic Voices of Vienna. Afghanistan: Taliban Rising, Human Rights and Freedom for Women
Vienna serves as an international centre linking the academic world, international organisations, the United Nations, and foreign representations to a larger international community. Therefore, UNSA Vienna seeks to complement the UN’s SDG Blog with the diplomatic voices of Vienna. Every month, experts and foreign representatives will highlight current affairs in their country directly related to the SDGs. We kick off with our first blog article by Fausia S. Abdoel, with support of Sara Nawrozi (intern at UNSA Vienna), concerning the humanitarian crisis evolving in Afghanistan.
: Climate Crisis and Migration – What is the impact on Women?
In the course of our Climate Crisis and Migration art competition, we are happy to announce a joint online-workshop together with the NPO-Frauennetzwerk. We will be happy to see you there!
